A Note From The Editor

Screens and the Ego Literary Magazine provides you the opportunity to be recognized and published for your thoughts about the emotional and psychological condition of modern America. Interpret that as you will. The magazine is named after a book I wrote. The goal of this magazine is to elevate voices and celebrate interesting ideas. Here, we resist intellectual homogeny, defend free speech, and disrupt echo chambers.

If you’d like to submit, please go to the Submission Guide. In order to foster a community of people respectfully discussing contemporary problems, applicants must read the other posted material as well as write.

If you’re coming to this site because you’ve seen me on stage, I am involved in Standup Comedy but I don’t pre-publish my appearances on this site. I also don’t do social media. If you’d like to contact me, use email. I know that makes me an old fart. I’ll understand if you address your email, “Dear Grandma Marie.”

Without further ado, go read Screens and the Ego Literary Magazine.
